Each suite opens to a private balcony or terrace with panoramic views over the Cretan Sea and the island of Dia, creating a constantly evolving scenery from sunrise to sunset.

Rooted in the philosophy of slow living, our spaces combine contemporary design with natural materials, soft textures and clean lines. Selected suites feature private pools or outdoor hot tubs, while private pools can also be heated upon request, allowing you to enjoy warm, intimate moments even in the cooler months.

The experience unfolds at your own pace. Three main outdoor pools, heated during April, May and October, invite you to relax in warm, tranquil waters overlooking the sea. Our wellness offerings include two fully equipped fitness areas, dedicated yoga spaces and personalised massage treatments, designed to restore balance, energy and inner calm.

Gastronomy is an essential part of your stay. Your day begins with a rich Greek breakfast, combining a curated buffet with freshly prepared à la carte dishes and handcrafted coffee. During the day, light Mediterranean flavours are served by the pool, while in the evening, our restaurant presents a refined interpretation of Cretan and Greek cuisine, created with carefully selected local ingredients and a modern culinary approach.

Every one of our 26 luxury rooms in Agia Pelagia, have a balcony or terrace with astonishing panoramic sea views. The sea vistas that pour into our interiors are simply magical and are something you should experience in person. Whether it is during or day or the evening, you will be utterly captivated by watching the sun, the sea, the island of Dia, and the Cretan coastline.

All rooms of Happy Cretan are air-conditioned and are designed with a modern take on the traditional local architecture. Some accommodation types are stone-built with a slanted ceiling and some are fitted with an indoor or outdoor hot tub.

We offer modern rooms near Heraklion with sea view that have plenty of space to ensure well-being. Relax in the outdoor hot tub or on the sun loungers by the Thalasso pool (chlorine-free), enjoying the panoramic views over the Cretan Sea. A sea-view fitness centre is provided while massage treatments can be arranged upon request upon arrival or in advance via direct booking.

As for tending to your gastronomic needs, we cater from am to pm! From a traditional daily buffet breakfast with delicious homemade sweets, you can savour all the Mediterranean, Greek and Cretan dishes and delicacies served at our on-site restaurant by the pool. In addition, the poolside cocktail bar prepares refreshing drinks, exotic cocktails and light meals on demand.

You can stay connected with the rest of the world if you choose, as we offer free WiFi throughout the hotel.
